Refund Policy & No Warranty Statement
Effective Date: This policy applies only when DiscSkis officially launch and a customer completes a purchase.
At DiscSkis LLC, we appreciate your support as an early adopter of this innovative product. As a brand-new skiing accessory, DiscSkis are still in their early stages, and we are excited to introduce them to the world.
This refund policy applies to all purchases of DiscSkis, as well as any accessories or add-on items provided with or sold alongside DiscSkis.
1. No Warranty Statement
- DiscSkis are sold "as is" without any express warranty.
- As an early adopter, you acknowledge that this is a new and innovative product, and while we strive for high quality, we do not provide a manufacturer’s warranty beyond initial product condition upon arrival.
- However, we comply with all applicable consumer protection laws in the country of purchase, which may entitle you to a refund, replacement, or repair if the product is defective upon arrival.
2. Returns & Replacements for Defective Items
We will honor returns or replacements only if:
- The product is defective on arrival (damaged, non-functional, or incorrect item received).
- The issue is reported within 14 days of delivery.
- The product is unused and has not been taken outdoors.
- The product is returned to us for examination at the customer’s expense before a replacement or refund is issued.
If your claim is approved, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
3. Return Process & Customer Responsibility
If you believe your DiscSkis or any accessories purchased with them are defective upon arrival, you must:
- Return the item to us for inspection at your own expense.
- Once we receive and examine the product, we will determine if a replacement or refund is warranted.
- If the item is confirmed to be defective, we will:
- Provide a replacement product at no additional cost OR
- Issue a refund, depending on the situation.
- Shipping costs for returning the item are non-refundable.
4. What Voids a Return or Replacement?
Your return or replacement request will be denied if:
- The product has been used outdoors or shows signs of wear.
- The issue is due to improper use, accidental damage, or modifications.
- The claim is submitted after 14 days from delivery.
- The product is not returned for inspection.
Once DiscSkis have been used outdoors, we cannot accept a return or replacement.
5. Policy Applies to Accessories & Additional Products
This refund policy applies to all products and accessories purchased with DiscSkis, including but not limited to:
- DiscSkis themselves
- Straps, fasteners, and any included hardware
- Branded apparel or accessories sold as add-ons
If an accessory or additional product is defective upon arrival, the same 14-day return and inspection process applies.
6. Compliance with Local Laws
While we do not offer a warranty, we comply with all applicable consumer protection laws in the country where the product was purchased. If local laws provide additional rights beyond our standard policy, we will honor those requirements.
